Zone numbers for 24-zone units, terminal strip designations

I have a new 24-zone unit. I can't seem to find any documentation to indicate which expansion card is designated for zones 9 to 16 and which one is zones 17 to 24.

I'm sure I can figure it out by trial and error, but it would be easier if it were documented.

In the user manual, it states that the order of the zones go by top to bottom, left to right.  So on your controller, 1-8 are on the main board (top), lower left is 9-16, lower right is 17-24.

Thanks for the reply. The wording is a bit confusing, so it wasn't clear.

Maybe a picture of a fully loaded 24-zone unit in a future manual would avoid confusion.
