Help / Garage Door Controller Module
« Last post by LookingForAWiFiContoller on August 25, 2017, 08:43:45 pm »
Well it's been almost 4 years since my last problem, and I'll be the first to say I've gotten my moneys worth with my BlueSpray. Very happy with it and that's why I'd like to fix it and keep it working. One morning I opened the kitchen door to the garage and saw the sun. The garage door failed to close at night. Sensor checks out. The wiring to the opener is good. I can faintly hear the relay on the door module click as I activate it from my phone. No continuity as the relay activates. I can't find a replacement, so I replace the JRC-21F 4100 relay with a exact model. Thank you Ebay. To my surprise, same faint click. Awww D@&%@! I can't see any damage the SMDs on the PCB. If a replacement for the module is available, I'm not sure that will fix it. Has anyone else had this happen? Thanks for reading...

Bug Reports / Re: Chrome and Right-Click

It does work, but not with touchscreen mode.  The UI detects the touchscreen and goes to touchscreen mode.  In this case, press and hold to simulate right click.

Bug Reports / Chrome and Right-Click

I've seen in mentioned in another thread but not addressed.  Right-click is not working with Chrome version 60.

BlueSpray continues to halt.  Been down since 7/26/17.  Today's watering is grayed/lined out, why.  SYsLog and Firmware page attached.
Is there any way to diagnose and fix this problem?

We've seen people using Google or Facebook just fine.  Just make sure your image is viewable by everyone and does not require login.

Help / Re: Master Valve on-off for individual zones
« Last post by bluespray_admin on July 10, 2017, 08:39:17 pm »
For more flexibility, the Master Valve can be set per program.  A program can consist of 1 or more zones.

You can create a program that runs some particular zones that you want the Master valve to turn on and set Master valve for it.  Create other program(s) with the zones you don't want the Master valve to turn on and select no Master valve.

There is no limit on how many programs you want to create nor the start times you want them to run.  So you pretty much have limitless combination of whatever you want to do.

Help / Controller reset/discovery and re-provision howto (firmware 1.x)
« Last post by bluespray_admin on July 10, 2017, 08:27:47 pm »
If you change your router/ISP or your wifi password, you will need to provision your controller again to tell it your new wifi password.

To reset:

1. Locate the reset switch on the left side of the controller.  Slide it down for 20 seconds then slide it back up.
2. The amber linght will start flashing.  Use a laptop or tablet, look for the bluespray hotspot.
3. Connect to the bluespray hospot.  Type http://192.168.1.1 on your browser.  You will be connected to the controller.

Provision:

1. Click Setting->System
2. Click the wifi button next to the SSID field.  The controller will scan for wifi networks nearby.
3. Select your wifi network.  Make sure it has at least 3 bars.  Click OK.
4. Enter your wifi password in the Key field.  Click Save

The controller will now take your wifi information and attempt to connect to the router.  If it fails, try resetting and repeat these instruction.

If success, connect to your wifi router again.  Type http://my.bluespray.net in your browser to access your controller from now on.

Help / Master Valve on-off for individual zones
« Last post by fcris on July 09, 2017, 04:26:35 pm »
Is there a way to have the master valve not go on for a single zone within a program? I would have expected a MV setting for each zone.
I could wire in a relay for that particular zone to disconnect MV power if I had to, but I'd rather not.

I pump pond water, and every other zone is a filter backwash cycle. I can't have the pump on for this cycle.

I'm switching from a Rainbird controller with this capability because I want internet - network control.

Thanks,
Frank
