My controller also isn't running.  "Today's Runs" are grayed out/lined through.  I restarted it at the plug and through the interface but still nothing.

Help / Access the controller from the bluespray.net
« Last post by bbrotschi on February 09, 2018, 08:56:58 am »
Hello BlueSpray team;
I do not recall registering my controller, but also do not see the REGISTRATION button within the UI of the controller. What steps should I take to recover account information, thereby enabling to login into said account.  Aside from the username / password which I have setup to access this support form, I also setup a username / password to access the UI of the controller. Am I correct in understanding that I will need to setup a third username / password to access the controller via the bluespray.net website ?

kindest regards
brianb

Help / are there known issues monitoring controllers availability using PRTG
« Last post by bbrotschi on January 21, 2018, 11:52:07 am »
I use PRTG Network Monitor to manage and monitor all devices on my home network, including (you guessed it) the BlueSpray controller. I have been monitoring the controller since early Sept last year (2017), and have noticed that for many days, the controller will become un-responsive. Are there any known issues with the manner in which the controller responds to receiving an on-going series of ICMP (aka ping) messages ?  While I don't have a trace file of the network communications, what I am basically doing is sending the controller an ICMP (echo request) message every 10 minutes, and reporting on the response.

Bug Reports / BlueSpray has running webserver but is not responsive
« Last post by boneman on December 29, 2017, 10:27:16 am »
I've had issues with my controller lately. I actually can't give details like firmware version b/c although the web ui loads on my laptop, fields like firmware version, date, time, everything is not populated.

Also, the reset switch does not cause the controller to do anything. At no point of leaving the reset switch down does the amber light blink or does the controller reset or go into discover mode or anything.

If anyone here has experienced this or could shed light on how to fix this I would certainly appreciate it.

Thanks!

You didn't have to.  It'll correct itself after the day the time switched.

Restarting controller fixed the date.

But Daylight savings time problem is still there. Had to set my schedule run for 4 pm for it to water at 3 pm.

Was trying to fix a daylight savings time issue.

It was suppose to feed at 3 pm Pacific, but it fed at 2 pacific.
I read the forum posts from a couple years back that said it would fix itself but it did not. It fed an hour earlier than it should and all other runs show an hour earlier.

I tried the time sync button, but now I'm in 1970 with no way to fix it.

Syncing the time with the web app makes the controller revert back to 1970.

How to fix this?

Help / Re: Garage Door Controller Module
« Last post by LookingForAWiFiContoller on August 27, 2017, 07:40:53 am »
Thanks for responding. I have checked the terminal ends for continuity when the garage door on Bluespray is activated. There is none. If I short the two leads coming from the garage door opener at Bluespray, the door opens and closes appropriately. I have tested the replacement relay with my bench power supply before I installed it and there was a very audible click and continuity. I have also tested it at 2.5V .05A. The click is far less audible, but switch in the relay functions correctly. I'm no electrical engineer, but my guess is that the relay isn't getting enough voltage to activate.

If you can hear the relay click, that means the relay's contact is closed.  After that, it's the other side.  Check your terminal contacts.
