Announcements / BlueSpray v2.2 is released
« Last post by bluespray_admin on October 19, 2018, 08:17:44 pm »
We are pleased to announce the release of BlueSpray firmware version 2.2.  This version has 1 major feature and of course, minor bug fixes.
Feature added:

- Notifications: You can sign up to be notified of any event that occurs on the controller.  The notifications will be sent out to your registered email.  So you'd need to register your controller in order to benefit from this feature.

Bug fix:

- Controller's time some times set back to 1970: Due to problems with NTP server at times. the controller cannot get the correct time and would default to 1970.
- GUI interface for Daily Repeat feature not working on touch device.

Hardware wise, all BlueSpray controllers will be equipped with Ethernet from now on.

Help / Re: Stacking issue?

It is not stacking.  You probably have the pump connected to the master valve.  When you start a program and specify that you want to run it with master valve on, it'll turn the master valve when the program starts.
Now, if you run a program that starts the pump only for 2 minutes at the same time, it will start the pump, but aster 2 minutes, the pump only program stops and turns off the pump.  I think this is what you're seeing.

If you need to run a program with a pump on for the duration of the program, specify to run the program with master on.  If you need to run the pump for 1 minute ahead of the program, then start the pump only program 1 minute ahead of the other program.

Help / Stacking issue?
« Last post by ballen_01 on September 30, 2018, 10:21:03 pm »
I recently upgraded my firmware to 2.2, and I now am having issues when I am running two programs at once. I am running a pump out of the canal and have to pressurize the line when I start a new program. One program turns on the valve through the pressure switch and a second program starts a minute later and bypasses the pressure switch for two minutes to pressurize the line. This has always worked well in the past. Since the upgrade, when the two minute program is done, everything shuts down, and I have to put the system on standby and back online to get the line to turn back on. It kind of seems like it is stacking the runs, but I have that option set to "No". I hope this makes sense.

Google has decided to change their map policy.  However, accessing through your account should work.

Google has decided to change their map policy.  We're working to resolve that.

However, accessing the controller through your account should work.

I updated as well and now the controller has lost it's mind. I have to restart the controller between each program or it doesn't run, and it is currently watering a completely different zone that what the interface says in running.

Help / Anybody Successfully Downgrade Firmware?

I accidentally upgraded to firmware V2.2 yesterday (9/21/18).  Had been on V 2.1.1 without any material issues for a long time.  Seems the new version has broken the "weather" feature that allows run cancellations based on the NOAA weather forecast.  Would be interested to know if others who update see the same issue?  Was working fine before the upgrade.  I have a saved copy of V 2.1.1 firmware.

Feature Request / Re: Save Config

We have plan to implement backup and restore to the cloud, but I heard marketing is deciding whether it'll be a paid subscription service, since it'd be stored in the cloud.
