Is there any pictures of the new controller available?

Will the old version continue to get firmware/feature updates?

Thanks

What brand/model is your router? Mine was actually pretty easy to do, so may not be too hard.

Also, read this thread:

General Discussion / Blowing out my system for the winter
« on: November 14, 2014, 04:46:40 pm »
Wow, what a pleasure this year blowing out my system now that I have a Bluespray controller. No more running back and forth from the controller (mine's located in the mechanical area downstairs) turning on zones.

I was able to wander around the yard with my iPhone turning on zones and observing the zone until it was blowing out dry.

Looks like I need to find a new way to get my fall exercise.

Help / Re: Where do I download app for iPhone
« on: August 22, 2014, 10:04:05 am »
I use 2 links from my iPhone.

The basic view that's optimized for the iPhone screen and the full lawn view.

I access each on my iPhone with the following URL's:

When on my home network:
Basic view:  xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/mob/
Full lawn view:  xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx//main/#cal-run

When away from home with port forwarding:
Basic view:  xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8000/mob/
Full lawn view:  xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8000//main/#cal-run

Help / Re: Mobile Web-App: Water Now, can't set zone run time
« on: August 18, 2014, 09:41:34 pm »
This is how I access it from the basic iPhone interface (not the one that shows a lawn view).

If you just want to run one zone, select "Settings", then "ZONES", then touch on the water drop. A set of numbers should pop up on a wheel. One for minutes, one for seconds. Just spin to the correct number appears and press "SET".

From the full interface (lawn view), I touch on the sprinkler icon on the picture, the time wheels pop up Spin to the time you want and press SET.

Tell her it's a mood light and see how that works out for you.  :)

General Discussion / Re: lawn jpg

Bluespray has a number of existing images on their site. One might work for you.  http://www.bluespray.net/lawns/

I ended up just using Paint (basic drawing program with Windows) to make mine. It's basic, but does the job.

I first outlined the property and major landmarks from a picture I printed from Google Maps or Bing Maps. Then I scanned it in as a JPG. Re sized to 800 x 600 (required size for BlueSpray). Then used Paint to clean up and add colours. It turned out OK for my purpose,

As for loading it to your controller, it needs to be hosted somewhere on the web (I use Photobucket). To link it to your controller, click the little wrench symbol (top left corner of the lawn image). Select "Use my own image" and enter the link to the image. Click SAVE.

Here's what my image looks like (yes a bit crude)

Feature Request / Ability to permanently lock lawn view
« on: July 15, 2014, 08:44:08 am »
It would be nice to have a "permanently lock lawn view" feature.

Once the zones are set in place, they typically don't need to moved around. I find that on my tablet, it's too easy to drag a zone by accident.

Thanks for the reply. The wording is a bit confusing, so it wasn't clear.

Maybe a picture of a fully loaded 24-zone unit in a future manual would avoid confusion.

Help / Is there a way to determine zone number once renamed
« on: July 05, 2014, 12:07:45 am »
When I add new zones, the zone name defaults to the zone number. For example. "Zone 4". I can then rename this default zone name by right clicking on the zone icon.

Question: If I rename the zones, is there a way to determine what zone name is on a particular zone screw terminal? Example, if I rename all the zones, what zone name is on terminal #4.

Thanks.

Help / Zone numbers for 24-zone units, terminal strip designations
« on: July 04, 2014, 09:00:13 pm »
I have a new 24-zone unit. I can't seem to find any documentation to indicate which expansion card is designated for zones 9 to 16 and which one is zones 17 to 24.

I'm sure I can figure it out by trial and error, but it would be easier if it were documented.

Thanks
