Feature Request / Re: Logging and syslog
« on: July 04, 2016, 11:56:05 am »
If the rain sensor is tripped, the controller does log it.  The system temporarily suspends watering when this happens, so there is not much activity to log.
The controller does not cancel the run as in the weather case because the sensor can dry out at any time and the run will resume.

The log on the UI is not the system log.  It is only an event log.

General Discussion / Re: Light Control
« on: July 01, 2016, 04:37:45 pm »
Yes, we use an expansion module and power it with a 12V AC transformer that comes with the light.  It was done to demonstrate the software capability of the controller only.  It is not recommended for real usage.

We're currently working on a lightning module.  It will be a smart module that would take command from the controller and control lights.

The light icon will appear when the light module is plugged in.

Bug Reports / Re: mobile bugs

We've introduced so many features that the phone UI has fallen behind.  We've fixed it, streamlined it and will release it in version 2.1 very soon.

That being said, 2.0 is a lot better than 1.2.  If you have problem migrating, please let our support group know and they will resolve it for you.

Help / Re: New Bluespray controller not working

Its a very fair comment.. how many weeks/months should I wait before You think its a fair comment?  I was a very satisfied customer until they released a bad firmware release and now dont want to address any issues it has caused.. should I wait a year?  whats your advice Canada_Guy?  I think you probably work for the company since I have been at this for over a month and still no real resolution (as my lawn burns up) and I have to reprogram my unit nearly every day to get it to work... that is a great customer experience!

Can you state what problem you're having and have you contacted our support group for resolution?

2.0.3 just has some minor bug fixes over 2.0.2.  The major release is 2.1 where we will announce the features added.

Ryan,

We don't really know what happened to the controller until we get our hand on it.  We cannot send you a replacement because you may have the older model and we may not have any such model in stock.
Please send it in. We'll ship via USPS Priority to expedite it back to you.

Help / Re: Stand Alone Mode
« on: May 18, 2016, 12:50:26 pm »
When you slide the reset switch on the controller down, it will operate a hotspot for you to connect directly to it.  It is designed for provisioning and initial set up.  Once you're done, slide the switch up and the hotspot will disappear.

Once you configure to have it join your router, it becomes a system in your network and is protected by your router, just like any other system in the network.  You can also add another layer of protection by adding password on the controller.

Help / Re: reset now cant copnect
« on: May 13, 2016, 05:22:46 pm »
If your system have master valve, running a manual on a zone from an ipad does not work because it doesn't provide you a master valve selection.  Tap on the water icon should work.

You can just click on the active zone and set run time to 0.
