Feature Request / Re: Master Valve Control by Zone
« on: April 06, 2014, 02:49:36 pm »
The master valve is designed to turn on for each and every run as in a traditional way.

So when you irrigate from the pond, you'd need the master valve to turn on the pump.  But when you fill up the pool, you don't want to turn on the pump.  With a traditional controller, you'd need 2 controllers to do these 2 different tasks.  But it sounds like what you want may be just the ability to specify which run or program should use the master valve.  Correct?

Feature Request / Re: Garage Door Close Delay @ Close Time

We're considering putting a user configurable delay time in this situation.  Probably will be in 1.2.1

Help / Re: Another port forwarding question
« on: March 31, 2014, 12:15:51 am »
1. The controller's web server listens on port 80 (http) and 443 (https).  What you'd want is to forward (extrnal) port 80xx of the router to (internal) port 80 of the controller.  If you want https, use port 443 of the controller.

2. You'd want the controller to have a fixed IP address.  This can be done by reserving an IP address for the controller. In this case, íts 192.168.1.13.

3. Our server at www.bluespray.net keeps track of all controllers.  If you register your controller, you would have created an account with us.  Login to your account on our web site (Account tab).  You will see your account page.  From this page, you can access your controller without having to know the public IP address of your router, provided that you have set up port forwarding correctly.

Steve,

What firmware version is your controller?  You may have an earlier version of the firmware.  Please update to the latest from our support page.

Can you describe the lock up problem?  Was it unresponsive, not responding to ping or web page not rendering?

Feature Request / Re: More than 1 Manual Run
« on: March 10, 2014, 10:14:11 am »
Manual run is meant as an ad-hoc run, kind of a quick test or just one run to supplement.  If  you need more than 1 ad-hoc run, your run schedule probably needs to be reviewed.

Help / Re: Delay Watering
« on: March 03, 2014, 11:18:30 am »
Delay watering suspends all watering for X number of days.  It won't push it back.  Think of it as the controller is inactive for X days.
After the delay period passes, all schedules will resume.

You can today's runs by clicking on the X icon next to the run on the Status panel on the right under Today's runs.  You can cancel future run by clicking on the same icon in the calendar view.

Feature Request / Re: History Page
« on: March 02, 2014, 01:25:18 pm »
I agree that the history report needs improvement.  It's on our todo list.  However, since there isn't a lot of demand or interest in it, it does not get a high priority right now while we focus on other more pressing needs.

Make sure you have set your controller to the correct time zone.
Perhaps you were looking at the week when Daylight savings time changes?

Help / Re: Monthly Water Budget
« on: February 20, 2014, 09:48:32 am »
I don't know about San Antonio, but Austin Water has a water time calculator that might help:

http://www.austintexas.gov/water/conservation/irrigation/calculator.cfm

But all that doesn't matter if you have water restrictions.

Help / Re: Can Bluespray safely handle 100 VA (4 amp draw at 24 volt) ?
« on: February 19, 2014, 11:20:05 pm »
What about the current draw?  We have not had a chance to test with your valve.
When you say fractions of minute, do you mean 1 second, 5 seconds, 10?
What kind of switch does your valve require?  Is it just a toggle or latching?
