It has come to our attention that some of BlueSpray controllers out there have been accessed by unauthorized personnel.  After a thorough investigation, we've concluded that those systems were accessed via port forwarding at the router which expose the controller to the public.

If you have set up port forwarding to your controller, please turn off the port forwarding service at your router.
As of version 2.x, you no longer need port forwarding in order to access your BlueSpray controller.  You can access it from any where via the cloud now, which is more secure and convenient.  Just log onto your account on our web site.

If for any reason, you still insist on having port forwarding, please at least set up login password for your controller.  Just go to Settings->System and Select Login to "Yes"

Feature Request / Re: Skip or Cancel a running Zone
« on: January 05, 2019, 01:25:08 pm »
Just disable the zone that is need of service or be stopped.  The controller will re-calculate the new run time without the disabled zone and resume the run.

Announcements / BlueSpray v2.2 is released
« on: October 19, 2018, 08:17:44 pm »
We are pleased to announce the release of BlueSpray firmware version 2.2.  This version has 1 major feature and of course, minor bug fixes.
Feature added:

- Notifications: You can sign up to be notified of any event that occurs on the controller.  The notifications will be sent out to your registered email.  So you'd need to register your controller in order to benefit from this feature.

Bug fix:

- Controller's time some times set back to 1970: Due to problems with NTP server at times. the controller cannot get the correct time and would default to 1970.
- GUI interface for Daily Repeat feature not working on touch device.

Hardware wise, all BlueSpray controllers will be equipped with Ethernet from now on.

Help / Re: Stacking issue?
« on: October 01, 2018, 11:40:06 pm »
It is not stacking.  You probably have the pump connected to the master valve.  When you start a program and specify that you want to run it with master valve on, it'll turn the master valve when the program starts.
Now, if you run a program that starts the pump only for 2 minutes at the same time, it will start the pump, but aster 2 minutes, the pump only program stops and turns off the pump.  I think this is what you're seeing.

If you need to run a program with a pump on for the duration of the program, specify to run the program with master on.  If you need to run the pump for 1 minute ahead of the program, then start the pump only program 1 minute ahead of the other program.

We have plan to implement backup and restore to the cloud, but I heard marketing is deciding whether it'll be a paid subscription service, since it'd be stored in the cloud.

So you originally had an 8 zone and you've got a 16 or did you add an expansion module?

Feature Request / Re: Soil Moisture Sensor Integration
« on: April 22, 2018, 12:15:18 pm »
We currently support open/close soil moisture sensors such as the Hunter and Toro.  Just connect the sensor to the controller's rain sensor.

However, these sensors only tell you wet and dry.  For more intelligent moisture level monitoring, we'd need to read the sensor's output directly.  We're working on readers for the TDR sensors such as Vegetronix, waterscout, decagon, etc.  Problem is these sensors have low voltage output, require short cable, which cannot reach the controller.  We're developing solutions to collect moisture data from a long distance.

Help / Re: Upgrading Firmware - Dead Controller
« on: April 02, 2018, 09:58:25 am »
You should not unzip it, just upload the while zip file.

Try rebooting the controller and see if it comes up.  If not, you've bricked it.  You can contact our support.

If you can hear the relay click, that means the relay's contact is closed.  After that, it's the other side.  Check your terminal contacts.

Bug Reports / Re: Chrome and Right-Click
« on: August 24, 2017, 05:59:58 pm »
It does work, but not with touchscreen mode.  The UI detects the touchscreen and goes to touchscreen mode.  In this case, press and hold to simulate right click.
