General Discussion / Re: lawn jpg

I’ve found that using a drone shot of my property is the best representation for the irrigation layout.  I have a drone that makes that easy and not everyone does, but with all the drones around today, friends and neighbors may be able to provide.

I use a drone shot of my property.   Much better than using Google Maps.

Bug Reports / Can not do manual runs after Canceling a run
« on: July 06, 2016, 07:07:27 am »
I have found that if I Cancel an active run, I can not start a Manual run until after the original run would have completed if it had not been canceled.   I'm running v2.03

There are times when I want to cancel an active run and then restart it, or start some other program.

When will 2.1 be released, or any other new version?

General Discussion / Re: Firmware 2.0 and new controller
« on: August 18, 2015, 05:14:22 pm »
Can't seem to find any of the selected distributors that list the new controller on their web sites, and no pictures of the new controller to be found anyway that I've tried searching.  Funny, most new technology always seems to have marketing that is way ahead of availability.  In this case, I see the the new controller directly available on the BlueSpray web site, but no pictures or specifications about it.  Come on "Marketing", how about releasing detailed specifications and multi-view photographs to give us some incentive to buy the unit.

Is there an estimated release date for the new 2.0 firmware and the new controller?

Bug Reports / Registering a 2nd Controller
« on: August 06, 2015, 11:11:33 pm »
I recently added a second controller to my irrigations system so I could add additional zones.  My first controller is registered.  When I go to the Conserve Tab, at the top of the window there is a message under the heading "Register" that indicates:  "Your controller must be online and registered in order to activate this feature.  You must Register in order to activate this feature.", however there is no button to register as there was originally when I registered by 1st controller.  How can I register my 2nd controller?

Also note that in the User Manual, the section on Registering indicates the user should go to Settings Tab and then to the Weather.  There is no Weather selection, and perhaps that was changed to the Conserve and the User Manual has not been updated.

Feature Request / Skip or Cancel a running Zone
« on: July 30, 2015, 07:53:45 pm »
It would be helpful to be able to skip/cancel a running zone in a program.  In other words, if a program is running, whether started manually or through a schedule, there are times when I would like to cancel a zone that is running and skip to the next zone, without needing to cancel the entire program.   The need for this might include finding a broken head while the zone is running, or needing to do some work in the area of the running zone, or too much water already in this zone this time.

Feature Request / Count down timer

It would be helpful to have a count down timer displaying on the Lawn View somewhere to show the time still remaining on a zone that is running.

Help / Re: Rain Sensor
« on: July 08, 2015, 09:48:33 pm »
In addition to BlueSpray, I also have a home automation system.  I connected my rain sensor to a pair of digital inputs on the home automation system, and then connected the rain sensor input on BlueSpray to a relay output on the home automation system.  With this setup, the home automation system sees when the rain sensor activates, and then can programmatically decide what to do about it.  In my home automation system, if the rain sensor activates, the home automation program sends me a text message, creates a log record, and the sets the relay out to BlueSpray, thereby shutting off the irrigation.  When the rain sensor deactivates, again the home automation system can decide what to do, but at a minimum it sends me a text message and creates a log record.  Typically, I decide when I want to re-initiate irrigation and clear the rain sensor relay manually.
