Title: Flashing sprinkler indication
Post by: tomt on June 04, 2014, 02:52:11 pm
What does a flashing sprinkler indicate?  I can't find it in any of the blogs or instructions.  I have a sprinkler that was scheduled to run and it was flashing after the run time was over.  It flashes about once ever 10 seconds.  We launched a different manual sprinkler, and it was a steady run indication until the flashing one turns on, then it spraying indication turns off.

There are 3 indicating lights (LED) on the controller.

1. Green - power is presence.  Should be solid at all times.
2. Blue - there is wifi traffic/data.  Solid on boot, blinks when there is data/traffic.
3. Amber - attention.  Solid when boots, blinks means attention (can't get time), solid is no good - bad flash.

There are detailed descriptions in the User Manual.

This is the flashing sprinkler displayed on the Lawn View, not the lights on the box itself.

It is just an indication that particular zone is being active (watered).

Normally when a zone is being watered, the "spray" indication is steady.  This one is periodically flashing on, but the zone is not watering.

Does it flash on one particular zone or all zones?

So far, it has only been on one particular zone that I have noticed it.
