Title: Upgrading Firmware - Dead Controller

I unzipped the firmware.  This appears to have killed my controller.  Is there any way of getting it back.

You should not unzip it, just upload the while zip file.

Try rebooting the controller and see if it comes up.  If not, you've bricked it.  You can contact our support.
