General Discussion / Re: Wiring from Irritrol RD-900 to Blue Spray
« on: June 05, 2014, 03:56:17 pm »
There are advantages and disadvantages to having apps vs browser.  We feel average phones and tablets already have too many apps, and users don't want another app to install and uninstall.  Also, we have to consider that an average person keeps his/her phone for about 2 years.  When he/she sells the phone, they don't delete the app at all, and that could be a liability.  Besides, with the advance of browser technology, we're seeing a shift from native app to browser based app right now.

Having said that, we don't rule out developing an app.  We'll do so when the situation dictates.

Does it flash on one particular zone or all zones?

You can leave them out.  But if you want to connect them then connect them to the screw on the lower right corner.  That's our board's ground plate.

It is just an indication that particular zone is being active (watered).

Where do those wires come from? Do they come from the power supply or the sprinkler wires?

There are 3 indicating lights (LED) on the controller.

1. Green - power is presence.  Should be solid at all times.
2. Blue - there is wifi traffic/data.  Solid on boot, blinks when there is data/traffic.
3. Amber - attention.  Solid when boots, blinks means attention (can't get time), solid is no good - bad flash.

There are detailed descriptions in the User Manual.

Help / Re: Port forwarding howtos

There is a good instruction discussion from AT&T itself here:

http://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB413180&cv=812#fbid=8aVxa3-puXN

You'd input the IP address of BlueSpray controller as the host computer, use BlueSpray as application name,
from port is 8000 (up to you), end port same.  Map to host is 80, protocol is TCP.

Help / Re: Pump Controller?
« on: May 29, 2014, 02:18:08 pm »
Yes, it is a bit of a hack, but when we design the controller, we design it for the most likely scenario of a master valve, which in most cases, turns on when a run is in progress.  Your scenario is a bit different.

The calendar is designed to show future runs.  Today's runs are shown on the status panel, under the Today's Runs tab.

You can dedicate 1 terminal to the pump, treating it like a zone.  You can then say no to stack mode. Have a program that runs the pump only, then start the pump at the same time as any other run you wish.

Tom,

BlueSpray is wifi only.  There is no network cable to be connected.
We have responded to every of your email.  We have no idea where they turned up, but do check your spam folder and see if they ended up in there.

Help / Re: Server Password

Sounds like you've set up a password on the controller and forgot it.  You can reset it by setting back to default mode.  You'll have to enter your wifi info again.

Did you set up a password for your controller?
