Title: Missing Error Messages

I noticed when configuring Schedules that if I entered a duplicate schedule name, it would just silently fail to add the schedule and not notify the user.

I discovered this through some trial and error.  It would be nice to know that the entry is reject in an error message.  This behavior had me confused and made me think that the interface was flaky, when in reality it was my own stupidity.
